Smile Hello guys....

Hi, everyone. I just purchased a 04 WRX STi and it has 40k on the odometer. Well, this is my first subaru and turbocharged car. I just love the way it performs on the road (first experience with 4WD).

Gonna change the oil soon and anybody knows what should I do on 40k maintenance service? coz I'm kinda clueless rite now with the manual book.

I guess that's all for now. Peace n have a nice weekend.

Wink

Hey, welcome to I-club.

I believe an Oil change and new oil filter is all you need.
I'd recommend getting Synthetic.

refer to your owners manual. There should have been a 30k matiance done on the car, but you should check with the previous owner to make sure.

Never trust when the oil was changed last, change it right away to make sure you stay on top of that.

the next major matiance should be the 60k, you can see what needs to be done in the owners manual as well

Well, actually I got it for $22k which is a pretty good deal. It has a pretty good service record and clean title on the car.

Hi and Welcome to i-Club.
You should do your 30K mile service interval if it hasn't been done.
Make sure you keep up on your 30K mile services and your oil
changes and your car should last a long time to come.
I recommend useing Castol syntec blend it's great stuff
and it is the same oil my local Subaru Dealership uses.
