which headlights

well i was just wondering what others think. which headlights do you guys like better, the 2004 or 2002 headlights. do you think that i should convert the 2002 front or keep my 2002 jdm lights. your feedback would be great thanks

Thats tough, I've always loved the bug-eyes and I think that the 04 style looks great on the STI, but for somereason I like the design less on the regular 04 WRX's. I guess I'd have to second that STI HID bug-eyes are the greatest.

thanks i was just wondering because i really like the 2004 headlights though i am starting to like the 2002 now because now im seeing that the 2004 front is to round. well please tell me what you think thanks

I like the 04 headlights much better than the 02-03 headlights. They seem much more in line with the rest of the Subaru lineup. But, now, when you say convert the fron, are you talking about going from the bug-eyes to the 04 style lights? If so, not worth the trouble, in my opinion. You'll either have to modify the grill/fenders/hood of you car to get them to fit, or relace every piece of sheetmetal in front tof the windshield, since it was all changed between the 03 model and 04 model. Too much time, work, and cost just for different headlights.

converting wouldn't be easy.
i say keep the buggies. HIDs if ya want em...

or if you wanna do 04s.. get the JDM ones. clear.. sweet.

Make them clear yourself for a lot less. The reason the 04 sti and reg wrx look so much different in the front is the grill IMO. Having that open grill on the STI looks much better than the mesh style on the 04

The new ones.

HID lights stock in the old US of A STi.

As far as conversion goes, its ultimately up to you, your time, your money and your headache. If it was me I'd leave the bug eyes or maybe get an aftermarket headlight set. Besides with the 04 lights you'd probably have to change out the entire front end.

thanks for the replys its just so hard to choose. there are times where i think i should change the front then others when i decide to just leave it. well thanks again.
