Got a quote for wrx, it is good? Help!

Hi guys,
I am newby here. I will be buying my dreamed wrx: Sedan, WR Blue M/T, Spoiler and short throw shifter. I got a quote: $23544.00.
Is this a good price? If this is a good price and then I will be pick it up tomorrow. Is the spoiler a must have option? Actually I do not want it.

Thanks for your help.

Well sorry to burst your bubble but I couldn't tell you if you don't include the mileage. The spoiler, I think, is a must, unless you plan to buy an aftermarket one....... But I have been trying to do research on WRX since I really want one, and depending on the mileage that seems a little high...... what about other option on it, eletric stuff, extras please list.....

redlin'r: I don't understand what you're saying..Sounds like he's buying brand new - don't understand why mileage is a factor.

It sounds like a good deal to me, considering you're talking brand new and '04. I'd go for it. You can also check out edmunds.com and look at the "True Market Value" (TMV) pricing. It will give you an idea of invoice price, and what cars sell for new in your area.

Sorry, forgot to mention it is a 04 wrx. My friend used to be a Subaru dealer and he suggested to deduct $500(destination fee) and total price would be $23000 plus tax. Anybody got 04 wrx for $500 below invoice?

Thanks!

Invoice price is usually around $1800 to $2000 below the sticker price so if you deduct $500 (destination charge) you are still not below invoice.

If you can get it $500 below invoice for an '04 that is a good deal.

Thanks for your kind reply!
I got my 04 WR Blue WRX sedan with short throw shifter for $25780.00 out off the door last Sat. I need to install the alarm, but the dealer asking for $425. He claimed that if the car has some circuit problems after installing the aftermarket alarm that would void the warranty. Is that true? He also suggest me install the lowjack. Since full coverage insurance will cover the car loss. I don't think I need the lowjack, but the alarm is necessary.
Which brand of alarm do you guys suggest? Thanks again.
