You can make both the turbo and the stock bypass valve louder by taking out the intake silencer. You can find directions here:

Don't worry about beating the Neon SRT4s. Just wait a year for them to break down


Seriously though. Those cars are fast. You'll be looking at more than removing the silencer for mods to beat one (at least a good driver). Also be careful not to cook the clutch trying to beat them. Its VERY easy to do on an AWD car. I learned the hard way.

yes... dont gut the uppipe, buy used parts if your on a budget,

remember to only use 91+ octane,
