yeah i herd the same thing from my sister and my sister-in-law....i pointed out to them "hey that's what i want to get!" and both my sisters and my sister-in-law thinks they are ugly...but I want the sedan and my bro-in-law wants the wagon :P he'll probably get his wagon WRX before i get mine though...:P (money issues with me_

 

My wife thought my red 2004 WRX was ugly and wanted me to get the Acura RSX S-Type instead. She didn't believe I'd ever buy a 4-door sedan.

However....

Once I snapped her head back accelerating up our winding road, she changed her tune. She loves the car now. :-)

I love that the WRX looks so different from other cars and that most 2 door coupe drivers have no idea what is next to them at the red light.

I know...because I see their stunned faces in my rear view mirror. Very tiny, distant faces I might add! Har har!

 

I drive a WRX and I am a girl. A lot of my girl friends think they look pretty cool looking. But I am also the type of girl who is in to cars. I have run into a lot of guys not liking it because it looks to girly and not that fast. Then I give them a ride

 

a girl i was seeing wanted me to get the rsx-s badly too. she said it was sexy. well, i aint seeing her anymore and i chose the wrx. i chose wisely.

hehe but seriously, id say about half of my female friends like the wrx not because of its looks, but because of its abilities.

 

when my wife found out last week that i sold my bmw, the first car she wanted was another wrx. she is the kind of person that thinks a car is a hunk of metal that takes people from point a to point b. not who you'd call a car person. we went out and looked at an 02 wrx wagon, and a new 04 wagon. she complained that she liked the look of the headlights on the 02 better, but couldn't justify spending 4g's less for a car w/ 19k on it than getting a brand new one with 48 mi. on it. makes sense. but regardless, i'm happy to know how much she loves the wrx

 

I guess it depends on the girl...because my friends mom and sister both think my car is nice. Or "cute", whatever that means...

Oh yea, girls dig the BOV sound

 

Most of the attractive (read: shallow) girls I know are only interested in the brand name.

See what I mean? My last girlfriend told me not to get a WRX because I would have to say "I drive a Subaru" instead of "I drive a [luxury car]"
Also I do think girls would dig a subtle BOV sound.

My wife actually likes my wagon. She doesn't like the color though, sonic yellow. I am 33 and she thinks I am trying to be young again. What ever that means??? However she like to drive it when ever she gets a chance. She has always wanted a convertible, and we looked at the spyder eclipse. I guess the rex spoiled her because she said that car was a dog. hehe

A lot of girls at work think its cute. I guess it just depends on who you ask.

 

My wife has been looking at a wide variety of cars lately, and she said she was looking for something that was "different" and didn't resemble everything else on the street. She chose the WRX, which we are currenltly waiting for the right color on.

She thinks the car looks cute, just like many of you have stated. Personally, and I hope I don't insult anyone, I think it looks more like a girls car to begin with. That isn't to say it doesn't look good, because I like it too (I like the 03 headlights better than the 04 though), I just think it's perfect for a woman:Cute, peppy, comes in an automatic, has four doors. Where can you go wrong? She had an immediate smile on her face as soon as she drove it, and she's accustomed to riding in my 530HP Cobra. I think it's a great car, and the right women know it .
