gas smell?

I drive an 02 wrx wagon with a fair ammout of work under the hood. I have still injectors and a warlbro fuel pump. Lately its been a little cool where I live ~35-40 degrees. Anyways whenever the temp outside gets I to this region the interior REAKS of raw gas. I can't figure out where its coming from. Having the heat/ac on vs off or recirculating or not doesn't make any difference. I don't exactly want my car to blow up on me haha. Any ideas? PS I can't afford to take it to the mechanic because my clutch is done for and I don't even have the money for parts. I have 125k on the odometer

A list of mods would be helpful. But in most posts like these, I'd say it's because you are running a catless set up.

I typed it all up at one point in the garage section (I'm new to the forum). But no its not the exhaust smell. My car smells like that sometimes too. This smell is like someone poured gasoline on the rugs.

Thanks for the update I was going to say the tank seal may be bad but glad you found the problem.
