Yeah..ummm just like the topic says. After about five minutes of driving with the a/c set to recirculate I notice a funny smell. I'm sure it's not that bad that it could be normal, but I really find it annoying.

Does anyone know what causes this? Can I fix it? Will the warranty cover it? My girlfriend always puts the a/c on recirc because it's cooler but I really don't like the smell. I like her and I want her to stick around. Help me out.

I had a outback that had a funny smell comeing from the A/C. At first I thought it might be some small dead animal, but it turned out that there was a small coolent leak that put some antifreeze in the duct. When I turned on the A/C it blew over the small puddle in the vent and smell pretty bad. The dealer foung it and fixed the leak, no more smell. Just a thought.
