finally a subaru driver

Picked up a 00 2.5rs 4 door!!!

First time driving one i was impressed with how solid and smooth the car was with enough umph to be a really fun car!!

Can't wait to make it even better!

Cool, I love that body style Impreza. Living up the in the great white north you should take it out in the snow for some real off-raoding.

Ill get some pics out soon, I actually pick up the car on Thursday.

things i want to change over time but I want to do rims/tires first then go to engine/body

Mod list :

Exterior = New front bumper, Rear wing, Rims/tires

Engine = CAI, exhaust, new plugs and wires

Suspenison upgrade once i feel the stock is going. (eibach upgrade??)

Interior = Already have stereo (alpine deck,two 10" subs), Wouldn't mind some sparco monzas :P

Funny thing is i was reading how bad the CEL is and how it comes on a lot but I didn't expect it to come on 10 minutes after I picked it up

Any place to get CEL checked free to get codes?????

do you have an autozone or something like it in canada , if so they should be able to do it.

as long as it stays a solid light and not blinking you should be fine. or if your lazy like me i took it to a local dealer and they fixed for me. mine was the knock sensor.

Think some local suby owners have a CEL reader I can use.

What is the Difference between blinking and solid. Mine is still solid.

Solid means that nothing major but get it checked when u can, BLinking is bad and you need service ASAP car kinda goes in limp mode!

welcome to the board....well when blinking either its a misfire, knock sensor, fuel system.....there can be other reason why its blinking.....but what i have seen those are just the few.
