Price depends on supply and demand where you live. It might have been possible to drive a long way or fly to another state to save a few bucks, but probably not worth it. As others have said, your car was a harder to find combo, plus it's exactly the one you wanted!

This reminds me of a conversation I had with my co-worker. He just got a new car and mentioned it had an A/T (he usually always buys M/T). I asked why he got an A/T. He said it was the "best deal at the time". I thought to myself that he got a good deal, but not exactly the car he wanted. What's the fun in that?
