I have a stock 03 WRX. I want to add a Prodrive muffler and debating about removing the 3rd cat and adding a midpipe. I'm really not interested in loudness- just a good sounding exhaust.

For anyone that has removed the 3rd cat, how much louder is it, if any? Does the midpipe alone make it louder?

adding a midpipe??....i thought there was one already on the car?

 

If your going to do the mid-pipe, you had might as well go all the way to the turbo with a down pipe as well. I am installing an hks up and down pipe this weekend, I'll follow up with the results
