350z is nice if you dont need room...evo has better handling than STi but gives up comfort...Z is better than rx8 b/c of reliability n looks IMO....wrx will leave you $ for mods....your choice depends on how many mods you want to do and whether or not the factory warranty matters to you

Isn't the 350Z the exact same car as the G35 coupe??? Only the G35 coupe is slower in the 1/4 mile by .01 seconds I think for some dumb reason. Does anyone know?

The reason I ask is cause I thought they were the same and someone at my work drives a G35 and he takes 4 people to lunch all the time and they're not small guys either. I know dreamimpreza said he disliked two seaters but they're not two seaters.

The 350Z and the G35 coupe are very similar cars, and your right the G35 coupe does seat four. The 350Z gives up utility for performance, hence no back seat and no glovebox.

Also, what about the G35 sedan, four doors and 260 HP, it compares favorably to the BMW 330i for less money. It sounds to me like dreamimpreza dosen't know what he wants, especially when he says the WRX dosen't have enough HP or torque. Has he ever driven one?

Dreaminpreza, I don't know where you live, but I think alot of dealers are selling STi's for MSRP, or a little over. So the price difference between the Evo and the STi is really only about 2k. I'm no expert, but you may want to shop around.

Plus, haven't the Evo's had some initial quality problems? I remember reading that a few months ago.

Another thing, despite the RX8's apparent lack of torque, it's no slouch in the 0-60. Check out Automobile magazine's comparison of the RX8, 350Z and BMW 330i from a couple months ago.

02/03 wrx $18000 like new + $4300 Vishnu stg.2 kit + Black Arospeed seat (made by RECARO i just found out) 500-700 a pair= $23000=slightly cheaper insurance and faster than all of them EVEN the EVO. But thats only if tuning is an option. Vishnu prides thereself on power and reliability though.

if you look around you can find a good 02/03 in awsome condition for 18000 or less. I got mine for that and had 20k miles and an extended warrenty (that i'm about to void with my vishnu stg.2 kit). there out there check AutoTrader.

dude you really gotta figure out what you want..the STi has some things like dccd the evo doesnt...it really comes down to what matters to you: interior, ride, perforamance, looks, seats, whether or not you wanna mod...stuff like that...i would figure that out for myself...dont let us decide for you...get all the brochures(sp) and figure otu what you want in a car and be realistic

Subarus are reliable no matter what they say about clutch. the newer ones are better. Dont worry about the warranty. Buy a wrx and get new interior and performance mods and u'll be happy. i'm sellin overlay woodgrain, carbonfiber, polished aluminuim, and other material kits for under 300. PMME. I think the RX8 is the best looking but its not got the kick in the a$$ like the turbo with AWD.
