before you judge keep in mind that the pic has not one thing to do with anyone from Subaru. They are merely artist interpretation of what the next possible impreza MIGHT look like, and it looks way too much like the ones that have already been floating around since the begining of the year that came from the GT4 game.

They need to come out with a 2door STi.

Krinkov has a point.

I say boo to the Alfa rip-off grille. Boo to the max.

I like this version better .. minus the nostrol at midgrille. I think if they adopt a vent like the Evo's and loose the scoop and make a FMIC standard... which means making more room on the lower front vent shaft. You'll have a winner.

Granted this is a WRC rendition. But you get my drift ..

However, Subaru is doing fairly well in the WRC with the 4 door sedan (Solberg has a lot to do with it though) but success is success and Subaru might not change that. But man, a 2 door Sti would be sick!!!

yes but the 4 doors has nothing to do with the WRC effort, its not a rule, they just had to use it since thats the direction the impreza went.

Right, and I'm sure Subaru gets some input from Prodrive about what type of car they want. But why would Subaru make a 2 door version of the Impreza when the 4 door version is selling well and performing well at the international rallying level? Maybe the Cusco JGTC team can convince Subaru to make a 2 door Impreza for road racing (I don't think they're doing that well.) And a 2 door version of that prototype car would look flat out mean!

The car a manufacturer chooses to rally is completely a marketing decision. Peugeot switching to the 307 over the highly successful 206 which had been developed for years, completely destroyed their rally effort this year, but the fact is Peugeot is in the business of selling new cars and uses rallying to highlight their new model.

Car Info: No car right now....sob.
07 STi looks like an SRT-4.......Teh FastAR!!

I actually have some info from a very reliable source about the Skyline....It will be badged as an Infiiniti, no engine specs yet, but it will be extremely limited, only about 7,000 made for USDM production. The big dealers will only get one if they are lucky.
