dyno numbers on s203

dyno numbers on s203

i was looking at the japenese subaru site and found the dyno from the s203 or w.e. it said

235kw and 432n for the numbers

what is it translated into hp/torque

Google found several java conversion pages for power conversion of kilowatt-to-horsepower and Newton meters-to-ft lbs of torque.

315.14 hp and 318.58 ft lbs (or lbs ft) of torque, respectively. Cannot be directly compared to current U.S. SAE ratings as I think the Japanese measurement uses different standards. It's probably in the ballpark, though.

I'm also going to assume (unless you show us a link for more info) that those numbers are for power generated at the crankshaft on an engine dyno, not for the S203 on an AWD chassis dynamometer measuring wheel horsepower and torque.
