they say the same thing about handguns and violence in movies, but nobody's ever proven there's a link.

All I know is that since the movie was released on Friday, I've been revved more (and I rarely get revved). Most notably a Lightning and a modded Eclipse. Both times I had my 3 year old son in the car.
I have a feeling this is going to be a short term consequence of this movie. Every idiot that thinks he has a fast car is going to think it's cool to race on the street.
Be careful out there.

Well that Lightning that revved at you is pretty fast, but yeah I get what your saying. However, if some jackass is to stupid to realize that it's JUST A MOVIE and not real life and then goes out racing on the street and wraps himself around a pole because he doesn't drive as well as he thought he did. Well I have to wonder do I really feel sorry for him. Um.... no not really. Thats like the parents that blame movies or music when their kid shoots up the school. Ever think that you are just ****ty parents. You let him listen to the music. You are the one that obviously instilled crappy values in him/her. Its JUST A MOVIE nothing more.

I saw it opening night, I thought it was hilarious. No better and no worse than I expected. The ricer convention going on in the parking lot was another matter, however... I've never seen so many weedwhacker-sounding engines buzzing across the parking lot on their way out.

I went to see it the first night. It was better than the first although there are some shoots where it was not nessesary like over the bridge thingy.

Saw it openning night. Complete rice and a half. Loud coffee can exhausts w/flames of course (I think it must be some new sort of jet propulsion, heard it adds like 200 horsepower) BIG body kits w/loud paint jobs. The pink S2000 has **** interior colored pink off course. The chick can't drive to save her life. The stunts were completely uncalled for (who jumps a bridge street racing). However the was one thing true to life. The 2 muscle cars in the movie sound the sickest and are the fastest in the movie. However if you want to laugh a little and watch all the little ricers get pulled over as the come out of the movie then I give it two thumbs up.
