Today I was driving then all of a sudden I heard a sound as if there was a bunch of metal tin cans in my engine then all of a sudden my engine stopped.

Does that mean my motor is done for?

And if so? Where is a good shop in the San Jose area?

How many miles on your 07? Stock?

 

5k+ for short block installed and 8k+ for long block..

 

It has 68000 miles

 

what's the last time you checked your oil level?

 

That a lot for a 07, was it on a stock tune or has the car been tuned?

it wasnt stock it was stage 2 tuned by paul from eip racing... by the way when you went to gst to rebuit the motor how much did it cost you i think im going to gst to get a rebuit

yah i found out the hard way. its a bummer but question for everybody if i do get the rebuilt will forge pistons be the way to go?

 

rebuilds are as expensive as a new motor
