Did I hurt anything?!!!

I was about to turn left onto the on ramp to the highway when a grand pre pulls up next to me. Turns green he guns it i slowly start then gun it and start squeelin and i look down and im bouncin off the rev limiter so then im in 2nd everythings cool 3rd cool 4rth cool 5th and i go to about 120. My car has 4k miles. Will the rev limiter bounce hurt anything? Im a little worried....please tell me whats up. Thanks guys...

since it was only a short time period, i doubt....i really doubt u messed up anything, and besides, if it was really bad, i think fuel should cut off right?

Bouncing off the rev limiter doesnt damage anything, thats what the rev limiter is for, preventing you from damaging anything

Its just a fuel cut off.

heheh.. ya. just dont downshift accidently into 2nd gear wen u meant to goto 4th during redlining. that is not good at all. that all u really need to watch out for.
