glued....come right off with fishing line and a little goo gone.

 

C-A-M-A-R-O no e. (sorry I had to vent I own a 1969 and I hate it when people spell it wrong, nothing personal) anyways. They are glued on and they come off real easy if you have a heat gun or a hairdryer. Once you heat the glue just peel it off carefully and try to get as much of the glue as you can. Then just use a little glue off. You can use fishing line like the other guy said but I am lazy at its too much work.

 

WARNING: Be very very careful with the heat gun warming process: I heated the "U" on my car too much and the glue took the paint right off the trunk. It's just a chip, but shiz... it took it right off, BE CAREFUL.. that is all.

 

Very good point sorry about that. Keep the gun a little bit away from the car and keep it moving back and forth DON'T consentrate heat on one area for too long.

 

At the moment the Camaro is in my garage in the middle of a restomod if you want pics I can get some. On the Camaro the badges are sort of bolted on. The WRX badges are just glued, there is no bolts.
