De-badgeing a WRX STI trunk
Hey everyone how's it going? I was just wondering, I drive a 2002 WRX but my trunk has some badges i'd like to de-badge. It has the following S U B A R U letters across the trunk and the WRX badge on it.
Questions:
1. Are all of those badges held be adhesives or bolts?
2. What is the safest way for my to debadge my trunk from home?
3. What products would I need to debadge the trunk?
I've looked over a lot of youtube videos but i'd like my Subaru community to answer these questions, thank you!

use goo gone to remove the adhesive. Apply it and let is soak for a while.
When you are all done get an orbital buffer and give the area a good wash and wax/polish. The clear coat may have been eaten through but you shouldnt see much except of an outline.

It's adhesive. Use fishing line to cut through the adhesive as close to the paint as you can. It will give you less to remove later.

Take the age of your trunk into account. If its an 04 STi trunk its 8 years old and will leave a pretty noticable "Ghost" outline of the badges. You cant buff those out.
Use heat from a hair dry and it can be pealed of with your fingers. Then use heat and goo gone to get the remaining glue. It works everytime.
