Crystal Gray Metallic STi?

Has anyone seen this color? How does it look? I'm planning on picking up an STi this month and I want to know if i should wait until the dealer gets one in or if I should just get my original choice. They're expecting one at the end of the month. Should I hold out and see what it looks like?

Thanks

It doesn't look quite as dark as most people imagined (myself included) it would. It still looks nice, though. Slightly darker then the silver. You can check out Subaru's website to see a decent approximation of what the color is, or do a search here. I know plenty of people have picked up the car, and there should be plenty of pictures.

Sorry, I forgot about the search feature. You're right about the color, not what I was expecting either. I like that graphite color on the new EVO MR though. I think I'll go with the blue. I like the white but my dealer won't get any because they don't sell apparently.

I hear that it looks amazing around dusk time or in more dim lighting, but it looks goldish/champaigne-esque during the day in person....anybody who owns one/has seen one wanna let me know if any of this is true? none of the dealers around me have a CGM on the lot

I have one. It is true, it does look AWESOME at night, and at the right light angle. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the choice I made.

i just bought a Crystal Gray Metallic 2005 WRX last tuesday and I love it. The new rims match the Crystal Gray Metallic perfectly. I had a platnium siliver 02 WRX, but the new color is worth the upgrade.

Talking I own a 05 STI in Crystal Grey....

I still can't get over how sweet the color is, every morning when I leave for work I get a grin on my face when I see it as the light hits it. Very cool.

That does look really nice. Those photos make it look better than the ones I found before. I think I'm still partial to the WRB though.
