sorry to hear that, but i never had that problem, but it is a possibility that the window may have been bad to start with? take it back to the dealership and see whats up. it turned out my car had a bad spark plug and didn't get any problems when it broke

Drive down the road on the highway behind a Semi-Truck that has dirt in the back (construction trucks) and get the liecense plate # and the company. Tell the truck company that you were on XX road at XX time and report it in to the company supervisor. The company is suppose to cover any damage that there packages may cause on the road and that includes dirt. It may seem low but hey it will work.

 Yeah Baby! Yeah!
It'll work, but IMO thats really cheap. I would never do that. BTW i have heard of some dealers covering damage so you might have a chance.

Sorry to hear that.
I had the same X-mas gift as yours but smaller, about 6-7 inch. What can I do?

i would say just call your insurance co. most have a winshield replacemet deductable seperate from your collision one. mine is $25 and i am allowed up to 3 windshields per year. with only 171 miles tho, there might be a chance that you have defective glass. i would try getting the dealer to replace.

basicaly all the 02 GDA's were defective, due to the fact that at the first meets we had after the WRX was out, everyone with a GDA had a busted front windshield.

mine broke pretty quickly. I heard a rumor that the glass was not fitted properly from the factory and was stressed, to the point that the slightest hit from anything would crack it.

I dont think I have heard of any problems once someone replaced the factory glass
