i hate ricer mags.. they always end up next to the s***ter after the first glance.. they have nice pictures but ALL of their articles suck. every single ricer mag i've read all they do is talk about their personal lives! I DONT GIVE A DAMN! i want to know about the car not them, they need to make a website or go to some stupid website like www.freeopendiary.com or somethin.

I actually enjoy Colemans stories since he will at least write up the car well after his anecdotes....SCC is the top I'd say.

i actually just bought the latest SCC to read their end of project article on the long term WRX they had. i swear, i don't know why i keep getting suckered into buying super street. yeah, they have some of the coolest cars featured, but they never have any worthwhile info on them. i'd love to go down to their office in SoCal and deliver a giant titty twister to their man boob equipped editor, and then have a discussion regarding the quality of their articles.

scc is good. i learn alot from that mag. i love colemans writing. he always manages to make me laugh and he makes me want to be an engineer again. i mean he makes me want to go to school for engineering again, not get another job as an engineer. yeah, like you care. is this post starting to turn into a super street article. if not, im an aquarius, born january 28, 1984. i recently...
just kidding.
just kidding.
I still don't know what IHI turbo the Cusco Impreza uses! Anyone know offhand? VF...?
About these car magazines....SCC is the best. And if you're doing some free reading at the local Borders, check out Grassroots Motorsports. They have interesting articles on ghetto sleds like a Taurus to Festiva engine and body swap, all for under $2000.

I hate car mags in general. Most of the articles are wrote bout how some guy ( or girl ) bought a car to drive and got an itch and started adding pats or had parts added at some shop you probably never heard of then long boring list of parts and mods then some happy warning bout meeting up with them on some lonely stretch of road and getting your clock cleaned.
I've read it all before I wanna see tech articles that don't require 5k in tools and 10k in parts.
My mag of choice right now The Horse Back Street Choppers. These guys fix choppers by any means necessary to get runnin. And the tech articles will show how some of the master builders apply their trade. Awsome mag!

You know, those ricer mags are indeed fun crapper reads. And even Super Suck acknowledges that
It's gotten to a point where I'll only read Japanese mags haha. Mainly Option, Option2, Hyper Rev, Impreza Magazine, Impreza no Subete... Cars-i and its twin magazines aren't bad either.
