Convert 03 to 04

I have an 03 WRX sedan. The car was in an accident and the body needs a new front bumper cover, left headlight, left fog light, grille, hood, scoop, left front 1/4 panel, left rear 1/4 panel, rear bumper cover and left tail light. I am planning on selling the car once it is fixed because I already purchased an STi. My question is: would you be more likely to buy an 03 WRX that had the 04 body upgrades or not? Wonderin if its worth the hassel or not?

not worth it.... just fix it and run.

That looks like it almost could have made the cut for being totaled. too bad the pillars are still okay or else it would have been

Just fix it and sell. You would most likely lose money trying to make it into a 04

There was a 2" harness bar running between the two b-pillars. I think that is waht saved the car.

I'm interested in what happened that caused the accident. Feel like sharing?

The suspension is damaged on the rear side a little. I would put some of my stock STi parts on it and upgrade the STi. Bent rim too. There is about $1500 in aftermarket damage too. As of now, not including the above there is $9,000 damage. Would sell the car for as close to blue book as possible. I was thinking about the 04 conversion for a few reasons. Put my STi hood and scoop on the 03 and get carbon fiber for the STi. Possibly put the STi bumper covers on it and get a body kit for the STi. Give it the STi battery and get an Optima for the STi. So on and so on.

Just my .02
he'll be sitting on the "investment" for awhile then cuz he has to find interested buyers and deal with the shipping. the other risk is that he won't be able to sell everything.
