Unhappy Concrete dust/water dripping on my car... suggestions??

So I park in a parking garage that is underground. With the wet weather and temperature fluctuations, the crack in the concrete that just so happens to be situated right above my car is dripping water with concrete dust (or something) in it, leaving these 600-grit bird-crap-like stains on my roof and windshield. While the property managers take their time to fix it, I've got a piece of cardboard to put on my car to protect it now.

My question is does anyone have any suggestions of how to get this off? It is a pain in the ****. I can get some of it off with window cleaner and cloth and LOTS of elbow grease, but I know it's removing the wax. I'm worried that I might get into the paint. To get it off the windows I scrape it with a razor blade. Any ideas for the stuff that is real stubborn???

Thanks for any help...

as far as getting it off, i've no idea, be sure to wax it again (the car) when you get a chance
try parkign some place else.

The old fall back.....strip it down with a liquid dawn car wash then clay bar it and wax it.

As for the cealing...if the building is taking time fixing it and this problem persists..shoot do it anyways...make them foot the bill for a full professional detail.....tell them it's that or a new paint job. Or at the very least make them pay you back for a full self detail/car wash kit....

And in while you wait climb up there with some silicon and seal what you can off so it drains some place else. But that could be bad advice...don't know what the cracks look like.

Thanks for the replies so far. Will definitely wax again. And get them to pay for detail!! Unfortunately this is assigned parking, the other option is outside where it'll get all frosted and frozen overnight.

First time trying to post pics, sorry if I mess it up.

no way you should have to put a freakin box on your car in a garage you pay for...freakin rediculous....they need to fix that and pay to fix your car if need be.
That's just rediculous....shoot man I got pissed when the damn sprinkler head broke and shot water all over my freshly washed car.

agreed, talk to the building owners and make sure that repair is on top priority. You shouldnt have to put a box on your car every morning. Maybe see if you can get a different parking spot

EZ, I had the exact same thing happen to my Black '03. It felt "crusty" to the touch and didn't come off as easily as I thought it would. It looked like a "bird dropping" and dripped down the side near my gas cap cover. After quite some time and a lot of effort, I was able to get off most of it with some Meguiars Scratch X that I had. I used a buffing wheel attached to a drill. I still have a few extremely faint spots that look like this:

"
"
"

I have no doubt that with a little more effort on the buffer, I could get them all out. The spots are just not noticeable enough to break out the equipment again (I just don't seem to get around to it ). You may want to avoid the hassle all together and take it to a good detailer.
