change the color of the dash lights.

i did this in my VW GTi, solder out all the leds and solder in the new ones..

i was wondering if anyone has tried this on a Wrx yet? the girl wants red not green. cant say i blame her. i went from grren to blue..

a friend of mine tried changing the lighting in his wrx. someone said that you can change the light bulbs in the dash and something else under the gauge cluster. my friend didn't try after cuz it was hard. if you know how to change the entire coloring from green to blue, let me know so that i can give my friend the advice. where can you get different colored light bulbs, if that is all you have to do? how did u do it in your car?

In the GC8s the middle climate control cluster has bulbs with small green coverings on them. Just scrape the coverings add a diff color from Toucan Industries (or your company of choice) and viola!

Takes some patience though... Beware. All those silly hoses!
