Hey I have been reading like usual trying to learn as much as i can... what is the difference between a catback and turboback exhaust? or an exhaust with no cat?? what is a tbe? thankssss- mattyd

 

Catback begins aft of the last factory catalytic converter. Turboback system, as the name implies, begins at the discharge side of the turbocharger (from the turbo back).

thanks svek. so when people say full turboback exhaust that includes down pipe?

 

Turboback exhaust is from the turbo back to the muffler tip at the rear bumper. The downpipe is after the turbo and is part of the turboback exhaust.

ohhhhhhhh and so catback is from rear catalytic converter to muffler. thanks it makes alot more sense now.
