Question well...

what kinda car do you have?

For a WRX you won't feel much power gains with just a cat back...but the STi version that you can get at Suby dealers is supposed to be awesome, although pricey - wuiet enough to be soft, loud enough at WOT.

For a 2.5RS it might be a good option (it will vary as per exhaust company), as NA cars do a little better with reduced back pressure.

Other than that, it all depends on your budget and car.

FWIW, if it's a WRX, a boost controller and a boost guage might be a better option.

my $0.02 worth,
later,
i.

Car Info: Black WRX, X.S. turbo back exhaust, X.S. cold air, and a lot of plans
I have a Apxei N1, sound nice with the piece in you know you have it but if you roll your window up you can't tell. I'm even running no cats and you can't tell inside the car. If you pull the piece out you get a nice deep sound all thourth the rpms. There is a guy selling his for $450 here on i-club. I have the xs engineering cold air intake and I like it a lot quicker spool up, good sound from it. For $250 it worth my money. All the part are for WRX, btw go for full turbo back. thats the only way you will see good gains. Exhaust really only helps at higher speeds, so do think it will help you 60'.
