Just completed a 3 day course in Catia Part Design and was doodling in class..
I know dimensions are not all correct, but hey......i was just going off pic off of the internet, and eye balling........
and dont mind the ricey tip







if i get some free time, ill do a true life model, its pretty fun and frustrating at the same time

 

Where did you take the 3-day course? I may be interested in taking a short course just to see if I like it.....

 

I have my degree in CAD and now I design parts for GE Aircraft Engines. Catia is a good program, but if you want to learn much more user friendly CAD programs I suggest AutoDesk Inventor or Unigraphics. You can whip out some amazing designs in a matter of 30 minutes.

 

I've had about 1 year worth of Inventor...cool tool....but i changed jobs and we use CATIA....
