OK been a member for a little while now... What is this "bump" thing all about that I keep seeing

 

'Bump' is adding a post to a thread just to send it back to the top - you're bumping it to the top.

Tolerance varies from board to board, generally you can get away with the occasional bump of something you think is worthwhile but if it gets out of hand, folks tend to get annoyed.

 

i just learned something new :-) ....lol and look at how long ive been here
