i didnt think the rally cars were tube framed, i always thought they had to use the same frame as teh production cars (in WRC)

other than that i have no knowledge of how to do it...

fine! when i dyno, ill have the ac running from another car diverted so its blowing on my intercooler..

seee i really had to think about this answer because if i had a mini aircondioner hooked up to the car, then it would weigh down the car a whole lotta pounds

the reason that the rally car is able to run the intercooler in that angles position is becase of the hoods they use. they're not tube framed chassis, they just have serious roll cages. with a replica hood utilizing the right vents, custom intercooler piping, and some brackets, i don't see why you couldn't make it work.

I'm a little confused on what you are talking about... do you mean a topmount not using the scoop like drift style or what?

it'd probably be cheaper to get a V-mount setup from someone who already builds one for an RX-7, and then have someone custom bend piping to fit.
