Does anyone know which of the three cats you can do without on a 02' wrx? I heard the car will backfire if you dont have certain ones. I also live in TX as far as emissions and being legal and stuff go, can anyone help me out?

you can do w/o all three! We do in Cali, and we have the most strict emmissions!

no problems, just some little popping while shifting, and possibly some flames out the back...

ahhh, yeah... no. tftf flames are fake and gay... catless suby flames are cool.... but you won't really get flames unless you're running a little rich.

lets just say this; universal studios will not ask for your car to be on the next fast and furious w/o your cats....

Most people in so cal do not run cats.
