2008 STI SEDAN on its way
I just got back in town from work and my dad travels all the time. in the USA Today some time this week Subaru said that they are getting a very negative response of the new STi, and there are a lot of people who dont like it. so late 2008 they are going to have a STi SEDAN available. hes mailing me the article to me so ill let you know exactly what it says when i get it.

I searched the hell out of it on USA Today's Archive site and found zip ~ "No articles found..."

ill scan it and post it when i get it mailed to me, i couldnt find it either by doing that but heres a pic from the article (one thats not on the website either, but in the paper, and this pic isnt on the website either)
NW OBS-i guess you didnt find the tokyo auto show, try this link it has some pics but no the articles for the section, its so amazing you didnt find that on your search.

Thats odd. I know the wrx did not get a great response, but I have heard mostly positive things about the STI. Personaly, I am not a fan of the new wrx sedan. For the STI, I prefer the hatch, but we will se I guess

Both the picture you posted and the link are of the 5 door hatch. Yeah, I found those ~ but we are talking the 4 door sedan, eh? No sign of it in any search and our SOA rep says "no - not true".

Even though I'm a fan of WRX/STi sedan up thru '07, IMO the '08 hatch looks better than the '08 sedan and from what I'm envisioning in my mind a sedan with the '08 STI lines on it would look pretty silly, especially the way the rear fenders are shaped.

Subaru designs it's cars for their home market...which is Japan.
Considering how many 08 Impreza's I have seen firsthand on the roads in Japan, I'd say they did pretty good with their target buyers.
Only the US is getting the Impreza Sedan....so maybe the US will be the only ones to get the STi Sedan. Either way the Sedan is UGLY.
