so we go out to a bar to celabrate my girlfriends birthday and stay till close.
we get out to the parking lot and start driving back home, she said that she wanted some water so we stopped at a drug store.. we got out of the car and walked around the back of it when she said "oh you took your airfoil off your car." i turned around and looked for my self... turns out when we were at the bar some jackass hill billy or drunk *** frat boy tore it off of my car... im not talking poped the trunk and unscrewed it ... im talking streaght up tore it off of my car and took it!
i could kinda understand this if it was a big after market one that looked horrable or something like that but it was the stock rs wing!!!

That just plain F'in sucks!! Did u happen to check if that place had a parking lot camera? Might be able to get a license plate and sic the police on him. The video would be good for court.

 

you know i never did. i love to see them get there come-uppins.. but i have a feeling it will be one of thouse things where it just pisses me off even more.

no, the aria around the rear bolt on both sides are bent a little.. nothing a hammer and dolly wont fix.. or if i go with the stock again it will cover it up.. im having a hard time trying to decide what to put on it next so far my front runners are.



and i through a bid on this one because it was ceap and i dont think would look that bad

there is a part of me that wants to get something better but there is also the part of me that wants to buy something cheap so it wont look so bare just incase it happens again.. use that cheap one for when im at school and get a good one for in the summer.

you know i used to spend so much time worrieing if my car will be viewed as ricy when all it boils down to is i may loose some respect form people but by far im just going to enjoy my car the way i want to. i happen to like some of the products that 'ricy' people enjoy but i understand that products have to be in ballance with the rest of the car... i wont put a product on my car that looks bad in person.. i feel that any of these airfoils would look good on the car but i cant say for sure untill i have product in hand.
all i know is right now is my car looks too goofy without one and im ready for something new.
stock was fine when it was there. but if i have to buy a new one im going to find one i like more than stock.
sorry if this tweeks any one but its just how i feel.

 

Okay, I definitely agree that it looks just plain weird without a spoiler at all. But, the "I don't care what anyone else thinks" bit doesn't go so far when you post pics of 4 wings and ask for opinions. Pick one and let us know when you get it on.

well if you want to split hairs i wasnt asking for input on what wing i should pick i was just saying i was having a hard time trying to decide what one i wanted... but you do have a point.. i do care what people think to a point.. guess i just get defencive when some one sez something that i like looks ricy... guess its the nuh-ah reflex sorry

 

FWIW, I'm with WW there. It's like a super sized stock wing.

 

I love the no wing look, so I'm going to vote: new trunk or patch the holes
