I posted like 5 posts up that it is gearing limited to 172. Mine is a Cobb stage 2 and it will get to that 172.

i think with enough money and the right guy working under the hood u could easily get it to 200 but like everyone has been saying aerodynamicly the car wouldnt be stable at 200, you would have to sheetmetal the bottom of the car, drop it so its kissing the ground and make sure u get a kit for the car that has been proven maybe the c-west kit, maybe a splitter and canards and a different spoiler??? dont know much but if u try this u have alot of work ahead of you

I think your right, I also think that the DC cars were geared differently for the race.

JUN were the first to take a Suby over the 200 MPH mark in Austrailia. There is video of it to boot. Start searching. The thing sounds like a jet engine.

Also just as a side note.
The highest HP NA is 290 AWHP for a Suby. Also online so search.

Gearing is the biggest factory and not HP.

and who made that 290 AWHP NA impreza? the highest i had heard of before this was the TWE car that has 230 AWHP. (PICS!!!)

Super areodynamic vehicle on the salt flats reached 472mph

It took 3752hp to do it.

So yes, it takes ALOT of power to go REALLY fast.

Hi there look up Andy Forrest in the uk his car ran 210.2 mph over a 1 mile straight at my local drag event , he is one of the fastest subaru's in the uk
