13.662 @ 100.82

I took my WRX to Carlsbad Raceway in Southern California last week and was very happy with the ET I posted but was not able to go under 2.089 for my 60ft. time. How do you slip the clutch and achieve those 1.7-1.8 60ft's.

I have a Vishnu up-pipe,MRT Downpipe, Tanabe Exhaust, ECCUTEC Electronics, MRT Front Mount Intercooler, VF30 Turbo.

You could do alot better than that with your mods. I think the trick is to get your launch down and lower your 60ft times.

Theres a guy on this island that runs 13.4 with just uppipe/downpipe/ic hoses/catback. stock boost, stock turbo. this is with the heavy humidity that usually slow us down about half a sec on the tracks here.

I am sort of disappointed in my MPH as I have seen WRX's with these mods running 104-108MPH in the 1/4 mile. I think with practice I could get to 13.20-30's but am still puzzled with my MPH. I did race a 95 Corvette the other day on the toll road and took him at around 110MPH. It was a good feeling as I used to have one of those.

yeah you could bring your time down a lot...work on your launch and any other weak spots....nice car

Who is doing your tuning? Vishnu stage one all by itself is that fast. The trap speed isn't really related to launch. Either way, I wouldn't worry too much about launching faster- sub 2.0 60 foot times are hard on the drivetrain.
