making a sharp left going oh 40 mph or something I hit a curb, brakes were applied. This is really not good, only had the car for 20 days.
Damage Done:
Both Passenger Side Wheels damaged, don't need to be but, will be replaced.
Front Bumper damage, scrap foot long slight crack.
Alignment is def. off, got an aligment done. Subaru dealer says control arm should be replaced, it's only .5 out of the tolerance.
How much is this gonna cost me...
I need to find brand new stock 03 WRX wheels for sale, and if I can purchased a control arm for the passenger side under 227 dollars please reply.
dealer says control arm 227 and 105 to install it.
I don't know the dealer cost on the wheels.
My friends dad has a body shop that will take care of bumper damage

incase you wondering after the alignment was done at the dealer...
my car drives straight, doesn't driff and going 70 mph there is no vibration or anything, no noise.
The 12 o'clock position on the steering wheel is at the 11 o'clock position now.
I don't know much about cars, I know my caster and camber are off, nothing is visual noticable to be bent. But obviously something is, and 6 guys looked at it, and concluded it was more then likely the control arm. Your info and responses are appericated.

wow it's be quitel... no responses.... anyone help me out with costs or a website or something... just need an estimate so I know how much I'm gonna have to work... I'm thinking I can buy many of these parts... cause I know dealer cost on the wheels is gonna be highly marked up...
If I end up going to the dealer to do this, I'll give the cashier a gun to make me feel better when i had over that amount of money.

i picked up two stock wheels and tires for $120... go to junk yard for the control arm and you should be able to pick one up for about half the price. and it's really not that bad to replace the control arm yourself if you have the tools. but after that you'll have to do alignment again, which is another $70-$120. Good luck!

I think that last reply is the best thing I've ever read. Mind you if I saw you in person, and I honestly won't care who you are, you'd be on the ground.
I'm really not in the best situation, and I don't need you childish writing.
120 for tires and wheels, looks I'm off to do some shopping

bundyboyz ... sorry about your car! Hope everything works out.
You should search this and the "other" i-club about turning in the scooby. One of the main things to know is NEVER brake while going around a corner at high speeds! This will cause you to lose control and just drift or spin. If you find yourself taking a turn too fast, just stay on the gas and pull through it, if anything, apply slight pressure on the gas, too.
I always make sure to slow down to safe turn speed right before entering the turn, then accelerate as you go through it.
Good luck and hope you have many more years of enjoying the car!
