Could everyone please tell me how old u are how manny tickets/accidents you have gotten into and what u pay for insurance? i am wanting to buy a 02 or 03 wrx but if i have to pay more in insurance than the car note then im just going to get a rs or a prelude, im 19 i have had 8 tickets, 6 of them were dissmissed, no accidents (knock on wood)

lol ya that would be the best way to go, the deal is that when i was 18 last year while still in hs i had a house all to my slef that my parents were paying for, and i lived in a small town so i knew everyone, when people wanted to skip school they just came over to my house, and the police started to notice, so every chance they got they pulled me over and gave me a ticket.

 

my brother is 18 and already has 11-12 speeding tickets

i have 2 so far not for speeding though

20, male. one accident (totalled), one ticket (nice cop dropped it down so it wasn't criminal speeding!) - $214 a month for my talon tsi. the car is classified as a sports car so its generally a bit more. i don't know how wrx is classified though.

my brother drives an xterra and pays 4 g /6 months hes a dumb**** i don't currently have a car looking to do some sort of conversion with sti motor and RS insurance says 2200 6 months with 2 accident/tickets

 

holy ****! i thought my insurance was high! thats ridiculous. mine ends up to be about 2400 a year. i guess i don't have it so bad...

damn insurance is the only thing holding me back from buying a wrx, even after I turn 25 in july it'll be 2k a year, that is just far too much

 

befor e i bought the wrx, I had a S10 chevy blazer with basic coverage and a 94 pontiac grand am gt with full. My house is with the same insurance company so i get a break there. Im 30 with no violations and was paying1254 for the year. Now when i was in the market for a wrx i called my insurance company and told them up front it was a wrx and also had the m run the vin # of the car iw as loooking at. TO my surprise the difference was only like 200 more dollars a year to drop the blazer and put the pontiac to basic and put the wrx with full coverage. So when you look at it an additional 200 per year to drive the wrx it was a no brainer. i remember when i was 16 or17 and i had a escort with full coverage since the car was new and i was paying 2000 for a stinking escort. I am glad im a little older now.
