I just one to atach this pic , is the new spoiler that Subaru Team use in the 2003 WRC in Monte Carlo , sorry for Subaru was out in the beginning of the rally.

the wing is too much (looks like a shovel IMO), but the car is still beautiful

 

The wing is state of the art , new technology new desing , to much for a regular car on the streets , but for rally is never to much

 

I was interested in the hood. What is the dealio with that first inlet right before the intercooler inlet. I like the hood is that available for our STi's?

Can't actually explain either or the inlets on hood. The WRC spec, and even the US spec rally cars have front mount intercoolers, and the intake/throttle body opens up towards the front of the car, not towards the rear like all the production cars. So no matter how you look at it, neither hood opening is for the intercooler.

If you look there is no longer an air vent on the roof. The hood scoop is actually used to vent air into the cockpit now ....

All of the vertical elements in the wing aid in straightline stability
