when i order my white sti with gold they ask me the same question(white wheels or gold wheels). but after that i hear someone say that blue come with gold , white with sliver, and black with gunmetal. i don't know is this true or not.

Yeah, the 10-spoke BBS rims are forged and weigh around 17 lbs each (JDM STi spec C wheels).....all the photos of US STis I've seen show these wheels. The "5 spoke" split rims are standard JDM and STi type UK rims and are cast aluminum (probably weighing around 20+ pounds each).....they cost around $300 less per rim than the forged ones.
Both could be available with standard/optional STi packages (you can certainly purchase both the 10-spoke and 5-spoke split rims now from Rallispec).
As for color, there are only two options that I know of; gold and silver (also decsribed as gunmetal but official SOA pictures show them to be a "standard" silver colour).
It may be irrelevant what car color/wheel color combo you order anyway. If you're high on the waiting list and want one of the first US allocations, you may have to accept an alternative color combo......dealers are not guaranteed to receive cars that match exact customer specs among the first wave of arrivals......so you'll either have to be lucky in your choice (i.e. blue/gold should be in abundance), flexible and accept an alternative combo or wait until the hype dies down and order the exact spect you want (probably '04 before this happens).
