What they need is a drop in the price especially if Mitsu lowers their prices on the Evo or starts offering the 0% financing on the Evo.

A local dealer here in Tulsa had a radio ad a few days back blabbing about 0% Mitsu financing, and he then said "including the Evo!". Of course, it's probably a dealer ploy (not a Mitsu of America program) and they'll get you somewhere else. But, 0% on a new Evo might not be too far off.

Oh, and this dealer had 5 Evos (2 yellow, 1 Red, 1 blue, 1 black) a few weeks ago. They are piling up on dealer lots. I foresee the STi doing the same thing by Christmas (especially at $2k more than the Evo and with no radio or floormats).

I plan to wait until the Christmas time frame for year-end deals, wait for STi demand to settle down (and these dumb over MSRP prices to go away), and also to hear changes for the next model year STi and Evo to see if they have more/better features. Here's what I'd like to see:

STi
-----
* Stock WRX 6-disc in-dash stereo as stock on STi (c'mon already!)
* Floormats for crying out loud
* Sunroof (would be nice)
* Stiffer wing and hood (functional or no, still freaks people out)
* Adjust ECU tuning to compensate for pinging on pump gas
* Wagon (bah, ok, I know I'm dreaming, but people would just go bonkers over an STi Wagon...just don't put that big wing on the roof)

Evo
-----
* Cruise Control (that was just dumb not including it)
* DCCD (tho it seems to handle crazy good without it)
* Dump the Altezza lights (small annoyance, no biggie)
* Upgraded HP/TQ to 300ish to compete direct with STi, even though performance is very close already

I read a little.

Basically, it seems as if subaru has a 15i "navigation" wagon version. It has a a 5.8 inch LCD which displays an upgradable GPS/map, a mini disk player, a smaller wing, an optional TV tuner (!), and a "communications unit" with internet access (whatever for, I don't know)... It has darker rear windows, and apparently only comes in black.

BTW, as an auto wagon married guy, this is what I really really wanted (check out the tiptronic...)

The above "wish list" is why we don't get more cool cars from Japan.

North Americans want too much, then want to pay too little for it.

- Ceramic Brakes (mad $$$)
- Sunroof
- More sound deadening/isolation material
- Quieter spoiler and hood
- Small hood spoop or at least a nice thin mesh on it.
- Leather with heated seats as an option
- smaller japanese seats (I am 5-7, 150).. would be perfect for me.
- Wagon (for u fans). I could care less for one.. Sedan for me please..
