I am writing down EVERY mod that I do to this car. This is the first car that I care to document EVERYTHING. Two days and I have already done five things.
1. Dead pedal
2. Trunk close fix
3. Pink STi radiator cap{very stylish I must say}
4. Changed HVAC control lighting from green to red
5. Changed key ring lighting from green to red.
6. 3/16" mod
The future holds intake, exhaust, tint, clear bra, and stereo in the next two weeks.
I have the fever bad....it burns...IT BURNS!

If i may ask, how long did it take to install the clear bra? I'm gonna be paranoid about leaving the car at the shop, so i'm probably just gonna hang around and chat with the guys while i get mine installed.

It just helps give you around a 1lb more of Boost from a stock set up. Oh and it's less than $2.00

My clear bra has a lifetime warranty, looks great and cost me $189.00. I wouldn't recommend anyone pay any more than that. By the way that price includes professional installation. Don't let people rip you off.
I am curious to what brand of kit you used or if it was a custom cut kit from hand. I would have to assume for the price that it is hand cut on the car. May I ask what areas are covered? Do you have the hood, hood scoop, bumper, fog light covers, lower splitters, fenders and mirrors like most kits have. If you do have all that and it was installed for $189 then kudos to you. I assume that when you say "lifetime warranty" you are speaking of the product warranty for cracking, fading or yellowing. Most companies offer that these days.
Also what film are did they use- 3M, Venture Tape or Avery.
Before you make a statement about the price and what people should pay you should make sure that you list all the facts of what you got for the money so people are aware of what you got. There are many differences, coverages and styles out there.
For those that want to see pics you can check them out here.

If you want to see other colors let me know. I have silver and black as well. I hope this helps anybody that wants to know more about the clear bras.

Sorry for the delay. I was on a five day long weekend trip because of Canada Day! Took the STi and put on 800KM in that time. Lots of gravel, rain, and twisty broken asphalt. All I can say is "what a machine!" This thing handles curves like nothing I've seen before.
Anyway, regarding the clear bra for those who are wondering. It's 3M brand and covers just the hood. It comes up about 18" and goes right across the entire hood. Does not include the mirrors, hood scoop etc. Got it installed by Ziebart Tidy Car for $189.00 Canadian. They did a great job. For $289.00 they did my window tinting and also did an excellent job.

Essogas,
Thanks for the reply on the clear bra. I wasnt trying to be a jerk about it. I just see so many people out there that are interested in the product and they are trying to judge what they want by what people say.
18 inches is a good amount of coverage which is good. That price is probably a fair shake for the marketplace.

Go to http://www.USDMSTi.com and take a peek at todays offering under "Daily Links".
I submitted to them a thread sourced from EvolutionM.net toward the use of octane boosters that you might find an interesting read.
Do know though that I am not endorsing the solutions posted nor do I suggest you use them. But it is an interesting read none the less.
