what type of tires?
So it is time to replace tires. I am going to stay with the stock size.
I really liked the grip of the stock tires (even at the track) however, I live is St Louis Mo and we do get some winter weather.
I am not going to get winter tire though, I have found that if I have the right tires and go slow enough I can get through winters here with no problem on max performance tires.
What I need is some tread pattern, example, when I had Yokahama AVS-Sports on my Audi S4 winters sucked........hardly any tread at all but with Michelin Pilot Sports winter was fine (they had a reasonable tread pattern).
Cost is really not an object, I would really like a stiff sidewall and great turn-in for track days, noise does not matter to me and tread life is of minimal importance (no R compound though).
Perforamce both in daily driving and at say 12-14 track days a year is the objective.
thanks for all your help.
