What colour Sti are you going for?
Black because it is the extreme color. When dirty it's extremely dirty and when clean it's extremely sweet.
No car looks better than a perfectly polished black car.
Only problem being that only lasts like 15mins.

Color/Colour
Hello All:
Just got back from my local dealer here in Mississauga a suburb of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He had 10 STi's in the lot bound for the press. There were 6 blue, 2 silver and 1 each of white and black. They were most impressive. All the blue had gold wheels the others were satin finished.
I saw and listened to the white and silver as they were driven away and back from the local fillin' station. Even at low revs and idle they sounded terrific. The gas guy said that it pulled really strong even at lower revs and less than large gas pedal input (as expected) especially compared to the regular WRX.
The seats were nice for a big guy 6'4" and 270 lbs. The heated seat is apparently drivers side only. The other switch is the DCCD. Also they said there are no fog lights under those covers.
That rear wing is just right! I think they were at least eight bolts right through the trunk lid for security.
I gotta say (even though I've ordered blue/gold) that the white was awesome. The black is pretty sleek as well. The silver although understated will be striking when polished well.
Can't wait - Still smilin'
I took some pictures with a 35 mm. I'll post scans as soon as they're developed.

Phun I'm from Toronto too, SARS capital. OH no so many questions!!! I don't know how you saw those when my dealer has no idea about ANYTHING in Toronoto-- Willodale Subaru is the dealership. Also, what is very suprising to hear is they come in many colours. My guy said canadians only get Blue and Silver to choose from!!! Yet you saw them all!! Why don't you go back and ask the price as this in another question my dealer knows nothing about. So you say Silver is understated? That's what I was hoping-- tohelp tone down that huge spoiler and hood scoop. But does it still look nice? And is white the nicest in your opinion? Is it too flashy? And are those STi's going to sit on the lot for the next two months collecting Toronto acid rain and SARS while people wait? I wouldn't want mine so early if that's the case. Answer my questions please and I can't wait to see your pics.

Hi essogas:
If you enjoy detailing your autos as well as running them the silver is gonna be a real looker. It'll look like a little silver spaceship; and yeah that's the most understated colour.
Every colour works but there is an official order of goodness according to Subaru Canada.
From best to worst out of 1000 points:
blue (1000),
white (999),
black (999) then
silver also (999)!
Oh, and the spoiler? It's outrageous and over-the-top and it's just right!
Cheers, Phun.

Just to let the Brembo's shine through.
