TurboXS DP & MP on the STI

Hey, has anyone installed the TurboXS Downpipe and midpipe while retaining the stock cat back exhaust? I threw them in over the weekend and had a few problems matching the midpipe to the stock cat back. Got a little bit of a leak at the connection. Throwing a code too but I figure it's just because of the straight pipes and the O2 sensor freaking out on me. A mil eliminator bought on ebay should fix that. Bad thing about that is it makes my Cruise control light flash and makes the cruise control inoperable. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open. I'll keep everyone posted on seeing if that mil elimiator works or not.

The MIL Eliminator will not work on the 2004's. Fix your leak and reset the ECU or have the CEL cleared.

With all these problems people encounter, I wonder why you even bother? CEL lights, cruise control not working, leaks... the list goes on.

if you use the turboxs with out the high flow cats or your cats then your going to get the CEL. I am using the highflow cat with the cat back. You don't lose much in hp that way either.

So, by keeping the cat in (which I plan to do and keep the environment nice

) you don't have the CEL come on? NO surging, pinging, smooth power delivery through all gears?

Well the pinging is probably related to your car, not the exhaust.

You may need a reflash if it pings constantly

I never encountered any problems. Its just the way it goes, a performance car always screams for mods! Its a must do thing if you are a enthusiast.

BTW, you can actually modify a DP for a CEL fix. Here is how I modded my Invidia DP...
