First of all, according to the Canadian STi site, the model will already come equipped with tinted windows. Can anyone else confirm this? If so, excellent as there will be no need to waste more money on a much needed tint job. (fabric will fade fast in direct, hot sun)

Also, who's planning on getting paint protector and rust proofing. I've had it doen on my mustang from Zeibart and it's proved to be excellent.

And alarms? What are peoples security plans?

 

The "tint" is the normal green tint that almost every auto window has these days. You'll want some black tint over that.

lo-jack is a tracking system. The authorized installer places a homing device in some area of your car. You car is then registered. If your car is ever stolen, certain polince units can easily find your car.

Before you ask any more questions about it, don't forget you have internet access. Do a search in Google.

Personally, I would rather have a Compustar alarm with remote start.

 

Well, I can forget about the "lojack" because it is not operational in canada (according to their website) They have it in 20 other countries including friggin' Africa but not the country due north! Oh well, there are many similar services like it up here, and maybe better from what I now know. We have something called Boomerang that is basically the same.
