STI's Available
Currently there are two STis available at Gillman North in Houston. They've had a white and a silver one sitting in the showroom for at least a month. They have most options installed, including... pinstriping. Once they get that crap peeled off, they'll be decent cars. I'm waiting for a blue one and plan on buying in the next two months. Then will begin the hardest part, the break-in period.

I rather have a key scratch then a pinstriping, at least it is less noticeable

My position at a NoVA dealer is coming up for delivery in the last week of August. I paid a $500 deposit in February toward a guaranteed sale of MSRP.
If anyone wants it and is serious, PM me for the particulars.
I'm canceling my order and will be getting my cash back.
I already talked with the dealer and he is cool with me giving away my spot to a 'friend'. The car will be Silver/silver and have no options.
The first person to speak up gets my spot/car.

Oh, the deed has already been done.
I picked up an STi two Saturdays/1250 miles ago from Van Bortel Subaru in NY.
This dealer in NoVA was my saftey/hedge in case VB didn't come through and/or their was background funny business at the last minute. There in fact was none and the rest is history.
So now I have a Silver/silver STi with no options sitting in my driveway and I've got a second on the way to be delievered near August 25th or so.

No, I had two orders pending with two dealers.
One (Van Bortel) was my primary plan while the other was my back-up/secondary.
The delivery date at my back-up/secondary will be coming through at the end of the month.
Its moot now though as I called yesterday to canel my order.
The car will now go to the first & highest buyer to walk in off the street as I was the seventh of seven on their pre-order list.
There's no way I'd buy two STi's.
I would get a G35C 6MT instead.

Obviously, I don't know the whole story.
