can the new 2004 wrx sti be modded to even more than 300hp? or well better known as, can it be +400hp with mods such as new exhaust, bigger turbos, racing chips, etc.?

thanks guys, after being read these feedback, i feel convicted a bit, but now i see why you guys like the wrx. i feel you guys. makes me even want to rally even more. I was wondering, however, why is the torque so high in the new sti?

 

same reason torque is so much higher in a dirt bike compared to a street bike as a percentage compared to horsepower. torque is a much bigger factor off road. on some rally cars you see numbers like 300 ft/lbs hp with 500 ft/lbs torque. same proportianate numbers when talking about dirt bikes.
