STI Fuel Comsumption !!!!!
I'd have to disagree with the A/C greatly affecting gas mileage if you drive with windows down when its off, unless you do most of your driving in traffic. I remember reading an article not too long ago about how there have been great advances in aerodynamics and a/c efficiency in the last 10 yrs or so. They tested a number of cars and the gas mileage differences with a/c on vs. a/c off and windows down were negligible in most.
I'd say if anything you should see a difference of maybe 1-2mpg. Driving habits affect gas mileage more than anything.
Heavy foot = poor mileage. Ride gears longer = poor mileage. Don't get into taller gears = poor mileage. Have too much fun = poor mileage
For the first 2-3 months when I actually tracked my mileage closely I was getting 22-23mpg. I checked my last tank and it was about the same. And thats with mixed driving and a few quick runs here and there....probably not as hard as the rest of you.

about 20mpg myself and I use the a/c a lot and I am not like my grandma out on a sunday drive

is right the a/c on the highway as opposed to windows will not hurt the mileage it will help it, there is much less wind resistance and once the inside temp reaches the desired, the a/c clutch will cycle on and off to maintain that temp.

well if counts from a guy who drives a RS i usually run with the A/C. for two months straight (hawaii early summer) i decided to try no A/C with just the windows open. my milage change was hardly noticeable. i maybe gained alittle less than 1 mpg at the most on average. this was tracking 4 fillups and not changing my driving routine or gas/station.
I gnerally shift at around 3k for regular driving with the ocassional spirited run up to 5.5k or so, and I tend to like to have fun with my STi - so that's more often rather than less. I've gotten anywhere from 215'ish up to 275 miles or so on a tank of gas - this is before the indicator comes on and with Sunoco 94 octane.

yeah when I had my Civic Si and the fuel light came on, I would procrastinate for a few days to get gas...
now in the STi if the fuel light comes on, I go straight to the nearest gas station and fill it up....
I have already had 2 or 3 really close calls on fuel light indications and procrastinating!

I'm getting around 200 miles a tank too, but use my company gas card, so it's all free! Maybe that's why I'm usually in 4th gear on the freeway with the turbo's spinning... instant booooooost. I hardly ever use 6th, but then if I had to buy my own gas... Wish we had higer octane than 92 here, but I know my company won't let me fill it up with 100 race gas thats available (he,he).
