STi or ....?
So i guess the STi comes in white so I"m down but i've heard and read so much info about subarus' paint and drivtrain not being par. and the dealerships vague warranty info. are there any other cars maybe AWD and turbo that i should check out. And NO i dont want a mitsu! Maybe i'll have to get a camaro or sumthin cuz i know there fast... Good ol' chevy. oh yea and NO fords or dodges either. I'm stuck. NE1 have problems with the warranty or should i just stick with my origanal STi...???

ONE thing, dont modd a subaru until after the warrenty expires. and My experience with dealers is it all depends on the shop manager. some are really hard to deal with. The sti is a sure choice. the cars have next to no problems. subaru did build a good car. The porsche has a boxer design. How good is that car. Not the same engine, but the same design principles.

aside from the Evo, the STI doesn't have any direct competition in the $30K price range. And yeah, the paint job is thin and weak, (at least on my blue WRX), and gets chipped and dinged to all hell real fast.
Maybe the S4 is an option? But that is more $$$.

The Saab 9-2, which is to debut in about a year and a half's time and is based off the WRX, is rumored to have 300hp from the 2.0L turbo. Should be a very interesting car.
