Sponsorship

I don't know if any of you guys have noticed the ads in the tuner mags a couple issues ago on winning a Skyline and getting sponsorship. I filled out the online app about 2-3 months ago and never heard anything. I got a call last night from them and they asked if i had gotten the STi yet and i said yeah 2 days ago and he said they had an opening for full sponsorship.$10,000 dollars a year i have to put their vinyl on the car and go to 4-6 events drag races or car shows or autox per year. I'll be getting the paperwork within 1-2 weeks then i'll know all the stipulations but if everything's legit and sounds good i'll be running 10's by next year.

I am sure it is them... they are advertising in the mags again. You would think that mags wouldn't let them run there adds... The beginning of this year they ran the same adds and said that they would be giving away a skyline... but that was about 6 months ago. I am sure that they have gotten 15000 applications by now? But you said that they gave you a full ride so? I am wondering if they will pay for everything? I know that I was offered a partial sponsorship... when I asked for a price list before I committed to anything there price (my price) where out of this world... way over priced.

Good luck... I hope it works out for you...

There is a thread on this in the General Forum... here is the link https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...threadid=26948 You can see my dealings with them and also in that thread there is another link to I believe a Mazda or Nissan forum that talks even more about it. How it is more of a discount club than a sponsorship.
