SOA - Keep me from buying an EVO!

It seems that some other people from this board have decided to go the EVO route due to frustration/waiting...
I just got my new issue of SCC today (I don't know how some of you guys get yours so early, I could practically spit on the sales office here since it's so close!). They had two interesting articles:
1) The '04 Sti
2) The '03 EVO VIII
The Sti article brought much pain because I know it will still be many months until I can even think of getting mine. This wait is gonna kill me!! I want my car in the worst possible way, and it's still only a slight glimmer of hope that I will see my #8 come up before the snow flies.
The EVO article provided new hope. This car seems a lot better than I originally gave it credit for. Although it doesn't have the active differential that it should, this car is still wickedly fast. SCC was posting 13.8s in the 1/4 mile!! I'm certainly reconsidering this car since it is readily available now (no waiting lists other than production queue). Although the 350Z is still a contender too.
My 2 cents to SOA: hurry up and build this damn car! I don't care what it costs, just don't strip any of the cool stuff off of it (i.e. DCCD) like Mitsu did. If you guys need help building them, I will gladly quit my engineering job and work at your plant (as I'm sure many other members here will too). Perform a hostile takeover of the WRX plant, whatever you have to do. At least make enough to clear the pre-orders before then end of '03. Please. Hell, I'll even take one of the prototypes that you have your monkeys beat on...I don't care!
I have stretched buying a new car for 1-1/2 years too long now, and I don't think my 'trusty' POS will go much farther! I simply must have an Sti, but if I can't get it before fall, then it will be an EVO or 350Z. This waiting...it's killing me...
Consider this my official "cry for help."

I would wait. It will be here soon enough and it will be great. The Evo on the other hand like everyone says. It's incredible. It IS a race car. Tranny whine (very loud) fills the cabin then turbo noise and finally the exhaust noise. Forget ACD/AYC. No one even mentions that issue anymore because the handling is so extreme with the RS diffs. It's not like an M3 or S4. It is like a go kart, plain and simple. So sharp that most everyone who has test driven one is shocked. Power is ok. Quick but nothing outrageous. It could be because the handling is so extreme that it makes the motor feel slower than it is. I know because I own one.
Now, if the STi has the same or better handling with it's DCCD AND a bigger motor, it should be a mind blowing car.

Autoweek just talked about Mitsubishi's Greedy Dealers and
a call for a Walk out on ALL dealers because of their
"Premium" Pricing. There are some dealers that are actually
doubling the sticker price! Can you imagine paying over
$50,000 for an Evo? If Subaru dealers get this greedy, I may
bail and go Mazda !
